For much of her adult life, Pamela lived in an apartment in Lake Forest, Illinois, where she and Stephanie are originally from, with their widowed mother. She was stunned to have heard from Stephanie towards the end of 2006; she and Stephanie had not seen one-another in years, though they had kept in touch, somewhat, with Christmas cards and occasional letters. Stephanie had been remembering the abuse that she had suffered at the hands of their late father, John. Ann hadn't protected Stephanie from the wrath of their father, and when confronted on this twice by Stephanie, she had turned her back on her and that forced Stephanie to declare her mother dead. Stephanie hadn't mentioned her mother in years, and her children all thought their grandmother was dead; they likewise had no contact with their aunt Pam. At first, Pamela was thought to have never abused by her father John, like Stephanie had been (this would be later proven to be untrue). She was witness to the confrontation that Stephanie and Ann had. She also met Stephanie's husband, Eric Forrester, whom she had previously met and remembers fondly, as does Ann. The small talk eventually gives way to the inevitable confrontation that Stephanie has to have with Ann, in order to be healed from her pain. Pamela, it was discovered, knew about the abuse, but since she was the shyer member of the family (and, being younger than Stephanie, was a very small child when it happened), nobody felt she should have been heard; and she took it upon her own shoulders to try to protect her older sister. Stephanie, however, reassured her that she needn't have taken all that burden upon herself. This bonded Stephanie and Pamela all over again. Despite Ann's repeated denials, Pamela insisted that she hear what Stephanie had to say. She stood by Stephanie as she explained her story to their unhearing mother, and then, felt her sister's pain once again, when Ann said to Stephanie, as she had done 30 years previously, "Shame on you, Stephanie!". This infuriated Eric, who then unleashed his verbal anger on Ann, defending Stephanie and Pamela. However, Pamela accompanied her mother to Los Angeles, where she and her niece, Felicia, bonded. Then she and Ann were invited by Eric to the Forrester Family Christmas celebration. At first, Stephanie was furious that her mother was in her house, after she had ordered her out of her life, but while singing a carol, when Pamela's great-niece, Alexandria, took Ann's hand and tried to lead her into the main room, did Stephanie realize that she needed to forgive her mother, which she did, and allowed her and Pamela to stay for the celebration. Pamela returned to Los Angeles to watch over her sister's family, while Stephanie went to Chicago to spend some much needed quality time with their mother. By this time, Eric and Stephanie had been estranged again, over a failed attempt to get back Forrester Creations from their arch-rival, Nick Marone. Stephanie asked Pamela to stay in Los Angeles to make sure that Nick's mother, Jackie, didn't get her hands on Eric while she was gone. While Stephanie was away, Pam made the usually cold and formal Forrester mansion a real home. One night, Jackie brazenly tried to seduce Eric and highly underestimated Pamela. She forcefully ordered Jackie out of the house. However, Pamela began to develop a crush on her sister's husband, because to Eric, she had more of the qualities he wished Stephanie had. Eric invited Pam to move into one of the guest houses on the mansion grounds. When Stephanie came back, she was happy that Pamela had succeeded in keeping Jackie away from Eric. In a move that surprised viewers, Pamela abruptly stopped appearing on the show, with no on-screen explanation. In October 2007 it was finally revealed that Pamela and Ann had moved back to Chicago after a ferocious argument they had with Stephanie. In essence, Stephanie got what she wanted, her relatives out of her house and out of Los Angeles.
The shabby treatment she had endured all her life allowed Pam to have more than a bit of resentment towards Stephanie; not to mention all the years of taking care of her persnickety mother. This may have also slightly unhinged her. As such, Pam returned to Los Angeles after Stephanie was shot in November 2007, this time with a doberman pinscher named Tiny. She also aims to become the new woman in Eric's life by taking out Eric's new lover, Donna Logan, and becoming the woman that Eric would love. She surprised Eric (who had not known she was in town, and had tried to get into the fashion show, but the guards would not let her in) with his favorite pot roast and finished doing the laundry, when she discovered one of Donna's thongs. Pam looked at the thong with absolute disgust, before letting Tiny tear it to shreds. When Pam first met Donna, it was instant dislike. She warned Donna not to mess with her, as she was far out of her league, then sicced Tiny on Donna. Tiny chased Donna out of the house and into the courtyard, whilst Pamela looked at her with a measure of psychotic hatred. Despite Donna's warnings, the Forresters refuse to consider the possibility of Pam being Stephanie's shooter. Pamela left, after Ann called her and insisted she return home, since she had forgotten her medicine. It was also discovered that it was Ann who was taking care of Pamela and not the other way around as Pamela was discovered to have bipolar disorder. With the revelation that Storm Logan was the assailant, and not Pamela, the suspicion was removed from her. Pam returned for Stephanie and Eric's anniversary party. She made a surprise visit to Donna, with Tiny in tow, and ordered her to stay away from Eric, whom she thinks belongs back with Stephanie. She also told Donna that if she even tries to become Mrs. Eric Forrester, she will be killed. Eric confronted his former sister in-law and told her the truth that he and Donna are in love and intend to marry, no matter what. Pam grudgingly accepted that, but put in a plea for Stephanie to work at Forrester. Eric denied her that request, as one of his conditions of retaining Forrester was to not let Stephanie be in the same building. However, Pam kept pleading that the clause was not legally enforceable, however, Eric would let his lawyers, not Stephanie's, look at the clause, and see if it was enforceable. As Pam was now permanently in LA (or so it was presumed), she is also now the receptionist for Forrester Creations, after manipulating the former receptionist, Marjie, out of her job, by lying about her alleged tequila drinking. When asked about who would take care of Ann while she was away Pam stated that Ann was going to be traveling again for the next couple of months. Also, Eric, to appease Pam and as a gesture of good will to her, offered Stephanie a job back at Forrester, although she and Eric are divorcing. However, Stephanie would graciously turn it down; knowing that it was time for Eric to put his own mark on Forrester, apart from her. She played a series of nasty pranks on Donna, to try to embarrass her out of Eric's life. Her pranks included tampering with the tanning booth, replacing highlighting solution which turned her hair green; and fixing whitening strips which turned her teeth brown. This made Donna angrier than ever with Pam, who found it all too funny. Pam also replaced Eric's Viagra pill with a sleeping pill, which caused him to fall asleep during a romantic episode. Pam crowed to Stephanie about her pranks to get Donna out of the picture, but her older sister told her that she and Eric are definitely splitting up although Pam doesn't wish to believe that. As such, Stephanie firmly ordered her sister to leave Eric and Donna alone. The feud between Donna and Pamela became all the more personal when Donna fed Tiny Pam's lemon bars; Tiny subsequently died of a preexisting heart condition. This has ratcheted up the anger and hostility between the two women. Despite Pam's threats towards her, Donna is indeed marrying Eric; and now, Pam is despondent that her sister has signed the divorce papers. Pam supported and commiserated with Stephanie after her enemy, Donna, married Eric. She still thinks nothing of Donna and when she was introduced to Stephen Logan, she called him "the father of the homewrecking slut". Despite Eric's marriage to Donna, Pam is intent on making her life miserable, using the situation with Donna's son, Marcus, and hopes that this scandal would get Donna out of Eric's life and the company once and for all; and Eric back with Stephanie. To this end, she has asked her great-niece, Steffy, to look into Marcus' background. Although her hopes of Eric and Stephanie getting back together are dashed, she still has animosity toward Donna. Pamela can't say anything nasty toward her, without incurring Eric's wrath. Since Donna has power of attorney, this puts her in the driver's seat and Pamela at a distinct disadvantage, as she callously fired her nephews, Ridge and Thorne, and her niece, Felicia. Upon hearing this, Pamela is understandably outraged, and it is possible that she could be next, as she knows the conniving that is going on. Donna eventually (and gleefully) demoted her arch-nemesis out of the executive offices, ordering her to go downstairs. Months later, Pamela accidentally poisoned Eric, due to her not having taken her medications, (a fact that Ann had told a horrified Stephanie) since June, and then tried to kill Donna at the Forrester Cabin at Big Bear. Her intention was not to kill Eric but only weaken him and thus discredit Donna in the process. Thanks to the aid of Owen Knight she was stopped. Pamela then bolted into the forest around Big Bear, holding her rifle with which she wanted to shoot Donna and was crying over what she had done, with Stephanie, and the rest of the family searching for her. After a little while Pam telephoned Stephanie on her cell phone and begged for forgiveness. Stephanie accepted her apology and then insisted Pam turn herself in and start taking her medication again. Pam refused and hung up the telephone after apologizing again. On October 3, 2008 a mysterious person watched Donna and Marcus open crates from a large delivery that had just arrived. When Marcus began looking through a particular box meant for Donna he was bitten by a large cobra. As Donna and others rushed to his aide the mysterious figure was revealed to be Pamela covered in a large shaul and hat. She smiled sinfully as the events transpired. It should be mentioned also that just as Marcus was bitten, Pam's sister Stephanie entered the scene. Marcus was rushed to the hospital in stable condition and Donna begged Stephanie to accept the fact that Pam is very dangerous. After returning to her sister Brooke's home, Donna was confronted by Pam who was revealed to be carrying a gun. Pam was obviously out of touch with reality and common thought and demanded once again that Donna stay away from Eric so he can be with Stephanie. Pam even went as far to threaten Donna's little niece Hope to make her point. Pamela, to get her point across even more, also ran down Donna's mother, Beth, although she wasn't injured. After Pam witnessed Donna tell Eric that their marriage was over she told Donna that she would always be watching. On October 17, 2008 Pam was revealed to be watching Donna from a window with binoculars. After some hesitation Owen finally told Stephanie the truth about how Pam was tormenting Donna from a distance and Stephanie, Eric, Owen and Donna devised a plan to get Pam out into the open. When Pam called Donna again she lied and told Pam that Stephanie called and said that Ann came to town check on things and became ill. Pam quickly called Stephanie and Stephanie lied in order to get Pam to come over to the Forrester house. Once there Stephanie told Pam the truth and they discussed what transpired. Pam admitted that she did everything to protect Stephanie because she couldn't protect her from their father many years ago. After some rantings and ravings and even a confrontation with Eric, Pam reflected on her life a little and eventually clutched her head. During the rant Pam even begged Stephanie to have her locked up far away from people because she doesn't know why she's hurting people or why she's changed. Eric and Stephanie tried to comfort her but she screamed and passed out in Stephanie's arms. On October 24, 2008 Pam was rushed to the emergency room where the doctors discovered a large growing mass in her head. When asked if she ever sustained a head injury Stephanie confirmed that Pam had fallen down a flight of stairs running from their father when she was a child, thus revealing that both sisters were abused by their father. Right before she was taken into surgery, Stephanie told an unconscious Pam that they were both victims of their father's wrath and that he had stolen their innocence and childhood. On October 27, 2008 Pam awoke after her operation and spoke with Stephanie, Eric and Donna and apparently has no memory of all the harm she caused them as well as Beth and Marcus. She also claims she doesn't remember that her beloved dog Tiny had died. On October 28, 2008 Ann arrived and with Eric and Stephanie's help convinced Donna not to testify against Pam. Ann decided to take Pam back to Chicago with her and help her get a full mental evaluation to determine what kind of facility she needs to be in. Pam begged Donna for forgiveness claiming she couldn't bear to live with herself knowing she wasn't forgiven but Donna sternly and coldy told her to "bear it." On November 4, 2008 Stephanie informed Donna that Ann found Pamela a suitable facility to receive treatment in and that she is no longer a threat to her or the rest of the Logan family. On December 26, 2008 Pam, in Los Angeles for some follow-ups with her surgeons, shows up at Donna's hotel room before Eric is to arrive. She profusely apologized to her for all her past misdeeds to Donna. Yet, she was skeptical, and had her leave. Pam then reunited with Stephanie, who was now living in the Forrester guest house; and the sisters agreed to live there together. Pamela also went to the first Forrester fashion show since Eric's return, and saw her crocheted bikini (later called a "Pamini") on Donna, and was at first stunned, but then was later happy to see that her masterpiece was the showstopper for the new surf line. She now works at Forresters, creating her Paminis for the new surf line, and is happier than she's ever been in some time. After the failure of the new surf line, Rick Forrester fired Pam and Owen. After two attempts were made on Rick's life and both Pam and Owen were suspects. Eventually the damning evidence was discovered by Lieutenant Baker in Pam's locker and she was arrested. Later on it was revealed that her grand-nephew Thomas was the culprit and after a talk with the DA Pam was released. Stephanie reinstated her at Forrester Creations giving her the job of creating crocheted pocketbooks. Even though Eric fired Stephanie later on Stephanie insisted that Pam remain with the company. Currently she has been given her old job back as receptionist and discovered to her horror that thanks to her carelessness she screwed up Ridge and Brooke's marriage license making their marriage invalid. She immediately told Stephanie who of course became overcome with joy. As has been mentioned in the story, Pam is a big fan of the long-running The Price is Right (also shown on CBS) and thinks that the show's host, Drew Carey is absolutely funny. Her fixation on the show caused Brooke and Ridge's marriage to be invalidated, when she mistakenly typed in a bid instead of Brooke's Social Security number. Unfortunately, it also had caused her more grief, when her arch-rival, Donna, wins her way on stage, to Pam's dismay. Donna wins a range, then a car; while Pamela burned with jealous fury. However, Donna recognized Pam getting her there, which made her feel somewhat better. On June 25, 2009 Pam and Jackie had their first encounter since Pam ordered Jackie out of Eric's bathtub and it is was obvious that time hadn't healed any wounds. Also, Pamela and Donna's rivalry is as strong as ever. Her mischievous nature and her battle of wits with Donna often sometimes make her comic relief, in the same vein as Sally Spectra was. As of July 16, 2009 Pam is now Stephanie's executive assistant at Jackie M. She quit Forrester Creations after she dumped a pail of honey on Donna during the shop stopper during a fashion show. And even though their flirtation began at Nick and Bridget's wedding, Pam has mentioned a few times since then that Clarke Garrison is cute. October 30, 2009 Pam was on "The Catwalk" show and was hilarious as she did her cat dance.
Pam is now dating Stephen Logan, the recently widowed father of Stephanie's archenemy/daughter-in-law Brooke Logan. Both Brooke and Stephanie are horrified about this relationship after learning about it. Pam, meanwhile, is beginning to wonder if Stephen's feelings for her are genuine or if he is using her, but despite whatever doubt she may have, their relationship continues despite Stephen now being jail, but thanks to his son-in-law Bill Spencer, Jr. getting a deal done for Donna involving Forrester Creations and her divorce from Eric, Stephen is released from jail. Pam is also deeply saddened by the news that Stephanie has Stage 4 lung cancer. Despite her not wanting to tell her family about it at first despite telling Brooke, Stephanie does give in and lets Pam and Taylor tell the Forresters about Stephanie's illness. They are very saddened by the news but do give Stephanie the support she needs as she goes through the fight of her life trying to beat her cancer. On February 2, 2011 Pam is there as she and Stephen happily watch as his daughter Donna marries Spencer Publications executive Justin Barber. Stephen and Pam decide to get married but Stephen suddenly breaks off the engagement. Pam accuses Stephanie of this because she still did not accept her relationship with Stephen. Consequently Pam shows its classic symptoms "of the period of revolutions."
Pam sends an anonymous message to Nick, drawing in the sauna of Jackie M. Pam informs him of his break with Stephen and confesses to finding it increasingly attractive. Nick rejects the advances of women, but Jackie, learned the fact, Pam glimpse into the secret weapon to raise his company from low income: in practice, hoping that in exchange for the opportunity to spend time with Nick, Pam agrees to steal some of the sketches from Eric. Pam, very hopeful of getting the attention of Nick, goes to work at Forrester Creations, and his parents, unaware, do not prevent the course of giving a free look at the new leaders. Douglas then took the opportunity to grab each model and especially the model of the habit of pointing to the future parade, handing it over to Nick and Jackie. This behavior is also due to Pam that she and Stephanie have begun to argue, as Pam feels left out and the only ones that make them feel loved are Marone.
